Terrestrial RAP

The Terrestrial RAP program assembles teams of international and host-country scientists to assess the biological diversity of poorly known terrestrial tropical ecosystems that are at risk. RAP scientists gather and report information about:
  • Vegetation structure and richness
  • Birds
  • Mammals
  • Reptiles
  • Amphibians
  • Selected insect groups
RAP conducts terrestrial biodiversity surveys in Central and South America, the Asia-Pacific region, and Africa.

Follow previous RAP expeditions online at CI's Investigate Biodiversity website.
