CI has a number of special websites about biodiversity conservation with topics for many different audiences. Please visit them all.

Biodiversity Hotspots
Sponsored by CI's Center for Applied Biodiversity Science and Intel Corporation, this new, in-depth site describes some of the most remarkable, yet threatened place on Earth. Rich with maps, images and data, this is the most comprehensive collection of information about biodiversity hotspots.

Tropical Ecology, Assessment and Monitoring Initiative (TEAM)
TEAM is a growing network of field stations monitoring biodiversity in the world's biologically richest and most endangered regions. All field stations gather data according to the TEAM Standard Biodiversity Monitoring Protocols, which provide for standardized assessment and monitoring. Through careful analysis of these data, TEAM scientists identify long-term trends in biodiversity and provide early warnings that lead to targeted conservation actions.

Agenda to Defy Nature's End
Participants in the August 2000 conference entitled "Defying Nature's End" gathered to discuss the development of an immediate and concrete agenda to face the world's major biodiversity threats. This site contains detailed information about the outcomes of the conference.

Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB)
A website for industry leaders and environmental organizations to promote business practices that reduce industry's ecological footprint, contribute to conservation, and create value for the companies that adopt them.

Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF)
The CEPF aims to dramatically advance conservation of the developing world's hotspots by investing at least $150 million over five years. A fundamental goal of the Fund is to engage civil society in efforts to conserve biodiversity. Prospective grantees may apply online for support.

Investigate Biodiversity
An educational website for all ages, this site invites visitors to learn about biodiversity through scientific field expeditions, species information, environmental careers, science projects, and conservation opportunities.
